Ellen + Jay
Duo | Trio
Ellen + Jay have deservedly earned their spot amongst the top musicians in Brisbane. With soaring vocals and effortless guitar work this duo ticks off all the hits, from love ballads and classics to modern party starters - these two gems have it covered. First meeting years ago when Jay was asked to fill in at a show of Ellen’s. The pair knew instantly that there was a musical future together, connecting as friends and musical partners.
Jay developed a love for music from listening to older classics with his father - bands like midnight oil, talking heads and the doors. These older influences along with a new found passion for studying guitarists from many generations has allowed him to hone his craft, touring throughout the world with various originals bands.
Ellen has been singing from a very young age, discovering her voice early it was clear that with such a powerful voice she knew she was destined to be a professional singer. Sharing the stage with heavyweights in the industry, such as Jesse Jane and members of the Spice Girls, she boasts an impeccable stage presence and a long list of both national/international touring.
It’s easy to see why Ellen + Jay are one of the most popular duo's on the wedding circuit. Along with acoustic duo and trio options, Ellen + Jay can of course be paired with one of our Paper Hearts DJ’s for the popular Duo/DJ combination package.
